Wetlook Ceramic Tile Sealer

Wetlook Ceramic Tile Sealer for Wood Tile Floors

We frequently get asked by tile installers and/ or their customers,  for a high gloss wet look ceramic tile sealer.  More often than not this is after they have installed the type tile that looks like wood or natural stone.

This porcelain or ceramic wood tile floors can be beautiful and their use is increasing every year. They offer many advantages and certainly appear very durable, offering the user, lower maintenance costs compared to natural wood or stone.

The issue with these floors, however, is that on occasion the surface finish can be rather dull in appearance, or the sheen itself is not uniform over the entire surface.   Comments we receive, are that the floor looks great when wet, say after wet mopping.  However once dry, the floor returns to a dull appearance which the customer is not happy with.

We get asked, “Can this be fixed?” “I ’ve been told that it’s not possible to seal ceramic or porcelain tile!
